So i went to get a new pair of specs. Two actually, one for my normal daily use and one for the army. Frankly, though i get emo at times, i really hate wearing black plastic specs, alas, the decision for 2 pairs of specs. so i went to choose and skim over the available specs..did all the eye tests and stuff.

And i realised something, thick,designed frames are the new in thing. And as much as i hate them, i have no choice but to choose one that had some designs on the sides cuz there simply isnt any plain old ones that looks nice! damn all those emo ppl who ruin the market. all the plastic black specs had UBER THICK frames too. my god, i had to specially request for one that was much much thiner.

anyway, so i had a voucher that discounts 100 bucks off your frame and lenses for every min purchase of 150. so i figured...hell, the most a specs would come up to would be 200 bucks, and a discount would bring it down to 100bucks..rather affordable i should say. i was dead wrong. because of my high shang guang, wadever that is in english, i only had the 199 bucks lense to choose, i mean to buy.wadever.and 2 pairs of lenses is like 400 bucks??!?!! my god. anyway after the discount my specs cost 400 bucks. *heartache*

Me:im fine with these 2 pairs of specs
Assistant: ok...for this pair of specs *punchs calculator* and deducting the 100 bucks...
and the price came to 238, but it was rounded off to 230.
Assistant: and this pair..*looks at receipt and proceeds to punch the calculator*
*tak tak tak tak tak* 178 bucks ~~ 170 bucks.
Assistant: and the total price would be *punches 170+230*
Assistant: 400 bucks * gives off a totally shocked but controlled face*

Keep in mind, she's the one in shock, not me. gosh =.=

Moral of the story. Kids, dun play too much com, dun sit too near the tv, look at faraway objects after 40mins-1hr of computer usage. why? cuz SPECS ARE FUCKING EXPENSIVE SO DUN BURN A HOLE IN YOUR PARENTS POCKETS!
