ok..i know its rather short. Im rather pissed off at copying and pasting the darn conversation here. besides..behind also nth much liao. when sam first ask me that..i was trying to recall who i called a *bobba* and since when did i form a anti-*bobba* club. haha.. i then realised i wrote it in my blog somewhere b4..... wait a minute... I HAVE A BLOG?!?!?!?!?!?! xD
if u all dun buy that, a clone version of me is trying to replace me in my life. *whistle....looks around with innocent face 0=)* i know i know...cl_excuses101 ...its a lousy excuse. i totally forgotten that i had a blog cuz life was just that monotonous and there wasnt really much to blog about. i even wanted to close down my blog. ah..but things are diff now...everytime i take a long break, i always come back with a new design and a new perspective in life. (= and i guess this is the longest break i took since this young blog started. hah.
well...y did i stop blogging for so long. Beats me. Maybe i came to realised that i didnt wanted to blog cuz no one's looking at my blog, well, precisely cuz no one's tagging that i implied that. hmm..i didnt wanted to blog for the sake of blogging yah. sometimes also must slack de mah...slack in sch..slack at home...blogging also must slack once in a while de. oh well, from now on, im just blogging whenever i feel like blogging about stuff going around...which is already not much.
Softball Nationals was officially over for us yesterday. ok fine..i admit we're noobs, we lost all 5 games.. yes.. u wan to say in my face right? say lo, like i bother. comparing to those buggers who trained for 2,3,4 even 5 and above years to newbies like us with only a year of training, i can confidently say that we're come very far to be at the stage we are on. NJC has always been the team our coach was eyeing for for us to beat. ha..sadly..though we were having a close fight for the first 3 innings, everything just collapse at the 4th inning with excellent batting from njc. hah.. nth much to say, good scenery too. anyway, after our match, we had a super long debrief where everyone was given a chance to say wadever they wanted to tell anyone in the team. so blah blah blah, jun han talked alot...muthu was commenting he had too much air time. then huiling beat his record flat down with a emotional speech. wah...really admire them..got so much to say, even if i wan to say...i dunno how to say for so long...and i'll probably forget after a while......which i did. Lol..so now i have the chance to say wad i wan to say here !! ^^
hmm..*clears throat* I guess our team is very diff from other sch's team from the fact that JJC have only 1 coach while at other schs, girls and boys have their own different coaches. So, though most of the time we train seperately, there are still times where we get together b4,after or sometimes during training. perhaps that's the diff y i see some sorta bond within our team compared to others. During njc, when the girls were playing, we were cheering them on, when they almost went into tiebreaker, my heart was literally gonna drop out like tt. And where were the NJC guys? sitting at the grandstand 10-15 meters away...with a occasional yay or go njc. then comes the guys match, when we were leading, the girls were cheering us on, went we trailed..the girls encouraged us. NJC girls finished their debrief half way through the match and joined the bench warmers of njc. and what were they doing? booing (psychologically)our team. lol.
Coach also told us he received many requests from schs to coach their players, but he wanted to only coach in Jj. i forgot the reason he told us, but he said something along the lines of he knows by our standard, we will nv be able to win the championship facing all the experienced players, his objective here coaching us is to make us love this sport of softball. haha..if some bypasser was to hear that, i think he'll laugh so hysterically that he will develop 6 pacs. but i believe that wad he said is kinda true. softball isn't just about softball. in softball, u learn about lessons in life. now this sounds even more nonsensical. to some ppl yes, but to people who experience through the highs and low of softball, i believe that someday u might just realised that it all makes sense. i could say that i am beginning to realise some of the things softball has done to change me and these things aren't felt easily and definitely doesn't have an immediate effect. it was only close to the end of the season that i came to realise certain things are done for a reason and others, more that what it meant. i guess, on a whole, softball has done me good, and i dun regret joining this sport. at least now i can watch a NBL match and understand and marvel at the plays they make.
I was looking at her blog just a few hours ago about her nationals and stuff. i must admit, the point of views a pro and an amateur have on their games are very different. i guess if ur good, u expect yourself to be able to play well and contribute to the team. and if the team doesnt work out well, ppl just get disappointed and move on. also, a very great difference was that only the flaws of the team was mentioned. what about the good points? this reminded me something pearl said to the team.. She said in her sec sch, their softball coach always pinpointed all the mistakes they make and treat good plays as something that oughts to be done. but in JJ softball, she realise we always emphasis on good plays. like...GOOD PITCH! NICE BATTING! GOOD CATCH! NICE THROWING! and not whenever someone makes a mistake, we go...why u miss the ball? true enough, as more and more of the experience players in our team started to share their sec sch experiences, i realised all of them had coaches that stress on mistakes rather then good points. just this morning, my class guys were playing soccer on the D court during pc. Of course my lousy NB shoes was giving up on me and it was rather hard for me to play. After a while, i went to be the keeper for my team. though i was rather far away from the play which was at the other side of the court xD unknowingly, i was shouting towards my teammate..like wah! good kick sia! nice pass! aiyah!! cha yi dian dian!nvm nvm..good try. okok..and apart from the
TOMO HARDE GAYS NEH! HOOOOOOOO~~
haha...maybe's this is wad softball has moulded and crafted into me.
Has softball really done wonders for me? that would be the answer i'll be searching out for...
