orientation is certainly an eye-opener these past 2 days.though it may seem like things are going rather well, there are many things many ppl did not see happening backstage.
Jenny's labtop broke down. Apparently the whole memory thingy crashed. so everything was gone. i dunno which councillor broke it, i dunno whether the person apologised or not. but crashing someone's laptop is not a small thing. but jenny was really strong to have put on a smile even when she heard the news. for that i admire her. of course she broke down after that, even i would cry if my darling computer was spoilt by ppl i lend it to.
Being a games-attached sucks. To be honest, im not joining ogl to spread the jj spirit or wadsoever. i wan to meet and know new frens. that was my original intention when i joined orientation 02 for the 2nd intake last year. in the end, i got into the planning com for 02. ZERO interaction with campers.FAILED objective. june i attended Pre-university Seminar as a SLO or Student liasion officer, max interaction with campers. now i join orientation to find out im attached to the games com. i calculated using the admin instructions how much time i had with my campers on the first day of camp while my future maths teacher was blabbering on. out of like 20 hours of interaction from first contact to bed time, the games-attached only had around 4-7 hours of interaction with them, including bathing and PT. that totally sucks. so i experienced zero, 1/2 and full interaction with campers in 3 camps. wow....big deal, screw it, i just wan to spend more time with my campers.
the actions of some of the ogls and Cs are already pissing me off. The guai lan side of me is getting more and more extreme.
stupid things aside, happy 2 mths girl..u said that why all the special dates always falls on such busy occasions...i really dunno how to answer u. before this, i wanted to have just a simple dinner and spend some time with u, and i couldn't even do that.
have to go continue making the things for my campers le,tml,fri,sat i will go MIA...not that im that eager and puntual in blogging entries.
