wow....i get complained for not updating my blog regularly... haha..it seems like the only way to find out who's reading my blog is to not find it out and do absolutely nth. cool. anyway, my life's been rather dead and thus there's nth to blog about. dun blame me, blame god.
so...coming back from ogl camp...i have learned alot of things, though it may not be the lessons that the teachers have hoped we've learned, it was still 'beneficial' to me. As an ogl, attending this camp meant that you're mentally and physically preparing yourself for the upcoming orientation for J1s. but alas, life isn't that good... i got assigned to games com. various games played during orientation would be in charge or taken care of by me. which means.....i dun get to have much time with my og group...which means they wun get attracted by my charm....which means..i wun make much frens..which was the original intention of me staying in ogl. crap..this reminds me of my shadows day when we had to plan out orientation 2. zero communications with our 2nd intake peers. but this....maybe around say...30% participation in our group? that's rather pathetic.
oh wells... moving on,for the first game..i had the chance to stick with my ogls cause i wasnt involved in the game. for the second, i was pulled out of my gamestation to be the............
SSSSIIIRRRRREEEENNNNNNN MASTER!!!!!!!!!
muahahahahaha...i was to be the siren master along withthe the ic of the game, jennifer. at first i thought...oh shit.. sian... a second later...a sinnister smile appeared. wow, what's more fun than spoiling other people's fun? ^^,

MY JOB!!!!!!!!!!
yay...every 10 minutes...im suppose to go around sounding the siren to tell the ogls that the time for that particular station which they are playing is over, and that they have to move on to other stations. my face lights up every 10 mins or so..seeing ppl being reluctant to leave the stations. sadly..it was only for 50+ mins, then the game had to stop and soon..it began pouring.
blah blah blah blah blah..boring parts in between. then it came the night game.
this year's night game was pretty interesting. every og is suppose to play a game of snake and ladders. there's this HUGE taped up mahjong paper the size of half our hall in the front part of the hall. every og's suppose to roll a dice...move steps..then take their clues for the next mini game.but cause this is a OGL CAMP... there's only 6 families playing at each time. game masters at their stations would just have to wait for lady luck to come by and let some familes land on the number which indicates their stations. so apparently, nobody visited my station, i was slacking around...talking to zheng long...then i went to examine the J1 first intakes... counted the no. of commonwealthians coming into jjc... apparently, the number accumulated to around 43. hmmm....78 came in for our batch...so it's suppose to be counted as a dissappointing number? i dunno, seems alot to me. bored me decided to go up to the hall with clarence to check out the situation of all the families.
mr leow was the 'commentator' for the game in the hall, i checked out the situation and there were distinct leaders and laggers. before that, i saw my family, f6 when they were running frantically across the canteen. i asked henry wad square we were at, i think i heard something like 18. so hmm..i tot, wow, so long and all the families are still at around that 20 region.. but to my horror, F6 WAS THE LAST FAMILY!!!!! OMFG, SOME OF THE TEAMS ARE LIKE AT 40-50??!??!?! AND WE ARE AT LOWLY 18. THAT'S LOSERISH MANZ.but anyway i kept my calm. eventually, we climbed up some ladders and reached 3 place, while F5 took a looooooooooong ride down a snake to last place. F1 and another family(for my own convinience, i shall name it family X) were fighting for the champion place with F1 at square 98 and Family X closing behind. F1 came up to the hall first with a bonus 3 steps forward. F1 threw a 5 on their dice and advanced to 99...100..99..98..97
By right, lawrence claimed that the 3 bonus steps FORWARD would bring them from 97 to 100 and as a result, winning the game. but NO... the rules were that the 3 steps was to be added to your dice count, which meant they moved from 97..96...95...94 and guess wad, a snake was waiting to ambush them and shitting them out at the 70+ region. lawrence's face turn pale and he immediately gave up.
Family X came in next. they rolled, and reach 99. But at square 99, there would be a snake chasing them back to square 96.so they reached 96, took a second roll, and it landed on a 3, which brings them to 99 and back to 96. in the midst of chaos, family X rolled the dice again, the dice impacted the ground and bounced around before landing on an edge which had 4 and another number which i cant recall on it. at this moment, someone whom i shall not name flicked out her fat leg and contacted the dice accidentally. the dice landed on a 4, which allows Family X to advance to square 100 to win the game. wow. some trick. i wanted to complain to the game station master, but because family x had surrounded the dice during the throw, the game master didnt see anything and awarded them the victory. i wanted to complain to the gamemaster, but the shoutings deterred me.i decided to just share this story with more details to my closer groups of frens.
as my potential maths teacher next year says, it's ok to cheat in games, as long as they have fun and do not hurt the spirit of the game, it's alright. this night game is around 2 hours long. ppl have to run up to the hall, take a toss of the dice, receive a clue run to the stations, and after completing every station, they have to run back to the hall to toss the dice again. it was truly tiring. even though i was doing nothing, i could see that most of them were putting alot of effort into trying to reach their targets as soon as possible. they wanted to win. especially lawrence's team. i really pei fu them. and family x just took the easy way out to win. not many ppl saw it, even ppl of that family may not have seen it too. if it was a mini game...cheating is ok...i think it's perfectly alright, but ppl sweat their hearts out to play the game and some fucker just cheats to win. this aint fair. i was very dissappointed with the culprit and some other ppl that i know more closely.
bah..i dun feel like writing anymore, such shameful acts spoils the whole spirit of the game. wadever losers.
